Hewley L-Carnitine Shampoo Review
Hewley L-Carnitine Shampoo (together with the Saw Palmetto Conditioner) are brand new products released in 2010 and said to be a a revolutionary hair loss system developed with a proprietary blend of potent ingredient used to prevent hair loss and increase hair growth. L-Carnitine Shampoo and Saw Palmetto Conditioner work together to stimulate and promote healthy hair growth in both men and women. In most hair loss systems, the conditioner is a side product and not a must have, but in this case the conditioner is an integral part of the treatment.
How it Works
According to Hewley, the amino acid L-Carnitine feeds hair follicles and stimulates new hair growth by increasing the scalp’s ability to translate the energy in your blood into new hair cells. It works in conjunction with Saw Palmetto which prevents further hair loss by blocking the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase from allowing the hormone testosterone from being converted to DHT. Pure Aloe Vera is added to enhance and increase trans-dermal absorption. L-Carnitine Shampoo is completely free of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate found in most shampoos and that are linked to skin irritation and thought to even cause hair loss.
The L-Carnitine Hair Regrowth System
Step One- shampoo: the shampoo is designed to “fuel” the follicles for hair re-growth. It contains a proprietary compound of hair growth stimulants, enzymes, and amino acids shown to increase hair follicle nutrient absorption to support healthy hair and stimulate hair growth. Basically, it fertilizes the scalp, increasing the metabolic activity of the cells, which helps hair grow stronger and healthier.
Step Two -conditioner: Saw Palmetto Conditioner works to protect new growth and help keeping the hair you have by blocking DHT. It’s rich in Saw Palmetto extract, fatty acids and phytosterols. It is also rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents, all working together to block DHT from starving the hair follicles of blood and nutrients.
