VIVISCAL WAS PART OF THE DATELINE STORY ENTITLED “The Follicle Five: Battle Against Baldness” on November 26,2004. However, the doctor examining the male, Hector, who was the one chosen to try Viviscal out of the 5 men (the other 4 men were assigned to other hair loss treatments), said the following:
Hector, our computer support technician is taking Viviscal, the fish-based product imported from Finland. He had said his expectations were low.

In that tv broadcast propecia has shown to bring results for all users. Even the laser comb has been shown to be effective. The viviscal user did not see new growth but no more loss as well (stabled) and said he will continue to use it. Bottom lines was that all 5 participant showed positive results (from stop losing to regrowing).
