Hair Loss in Women, Getting to the Root of the Problem
Although we typically think of hair loss as a male problem, many women experience hair loss, too. In some cases, female hair loss can be worse than what men experience with a majority of the hair falling out in as little as two months. Many doctors tell women that there is nothing to be done about the situation.
The things that cause hair loss in women can be stress, emotional episodes, eating disorders, childbirth, chronic illness, surgery, anemia, crash diets, hypothyroidism, and drugs. Any of these can affect a condition called telogen effluvium, which causes the severe hair loss.
One woman would not believe that she could not stop the hair loss or reverse it. While she was seeding and fertilizing a bare spot of ground in her yard, she began to think that there had to be a way to fertilize her scalp to regrow what she was missing. The results of her research have been published in her book, “Hair Loss in Women, Getting to the Root of the Problem.”
She learned that almost all female hair loss can be reversed. Regrowth is possible even if the situation that caused the loss is hereditary. Androgenetic alopecia is caused by an inherited gene resulting in baldness, but that doesn’t mean that there is no other alternative.
Androgenetic alopecia in women does not cause the hair to just fall out. Instead, it narrows the follicle causing the hair to thin and eventually gets so small that the hairs are very weak. Coverage of the scalp is less because hair is so much finer. At some point, the hair will cease to grow. If something is done for the condition, it has to be done before the follicles reach the point that no hair is produced.
The important thing to stop hair loss in women then is to do something before follicles become non-useful. Natural ingredients are the keys in the remedy for baldness, applied directly to the scalp. Using the right methods and materials can safely reverse the hair loss process and expand the hair follicles to allow thicker and healthier hair to replace the thin and weak areas.
Reclaiming lost hair and maintaining it is possible. The sooner you start on an improvement program, the better the results that can be expected. A woman who has not lost significant amounts of hair can still get with the program to halt the process before it becomes advanced.
