XFusion Review
XFusion is a said to be a cosmetic breakthrough that immediately gives men and women thicker-looking hair. It is made of colored organic fibers made of pure keratin protein – the same protein that makes up human hair. Just like any other product in this category, you should shake it onto the balding or thinning areas and XFusion fibers instantly fill out existing hair and giving you the appearance of having significantly more hair. It is not, however, appropriate for completely bald individuals as it must have hair to attached to. XFusion comes in 8 colors, and with other related products such as Spray Applicator, Fiberhold Spray and Optimizer which is a plastic comb.
The Truth About XFusion
Does this product reminds you of another hair loss concealer? if not, simply take a look at the related products list, it should ring a bell. Who else have such complementary products?… OK, I’ll tell you. This product is actually Toppik. It is manufactured by Spencer Forrest, the company the makes Toppik. Spencer Forrest simply uses different brand names and different colors for each product. For Toppik they use brown color and for XFusion light-silver blue.
XFusion vs Toppik
Since it’s actually one product under 2 brand names you may ask why did the maker separate it to 2 brands. The reason is only one – marketing. Many products, including electronics, cosmetics and health products are sold under different brand names. The only difference in such case can be the brand’s strength and popularity, which effects its sales volume, demand and price. As Toppik’s brand is stronger, it’s price is higher. In addition, XFusion is sold in 2 container sizes – 12g and 25g, while Toppik is sold in 4 – 50g, 25g, 10.3g and even 2.5g.
XFusion and Toppik are not the only twin hair loss concealers. MegaTHIK and SureTHIK are also the same product (made in Canada), and it’s the same for HSR and Organin (made in China).
Conclusion
XFusion = Toppik. The difference is the variety of container sizes, and the price, so if you want to buy cheaper Toppik – simply buy XFusion. The 25g container is cheaper. Even the Xfusion 12g is cheaper the the 10.3g Toppik and the related products (Spray Applicator, Fiberhold Spray and Optimizer) are also cheaper. All these products are made by Spencer Forrest which is a reputable company, so the products quality is high no matter how branded. XFusion products are less common and most hair loss product stores prefer to sell Toppik. The good news is that you can find XFusion in amazon.com – and in discounted prices (and if you buy a 3 pack you save even more).
