MIRAGE Hair Building Fibers Review
MIRAGE Hair Building Fibers is a hair loss concealer made in Canada that provides a natural way of eliminating the appearance of baldness and thinning hair. MIRAGE is a complex of 100% pure Organic Keratin protein. It works using microscopic hair fibers that build upon your existing hair. The fibers are attached to your existing hair and within seconds produce dramatic density and volume and total undetectable coverage to your thinning and balding areas. You apply MIRAGE Hair Building Fibers by holding the container over your thinning area, and shaking it gently. The product comes in 7 colors, and you can also add MIRAGE’s locking mist spray to improve the grip of the fibers to your hair.
MIRAGE vs Other Hair Loss Concealers
The good thing about this product is that it’s all-natural. Still, there are other products such as Nonofibers that are also natural. It offers only 7 colors while most products offer 8-10. It has only one size container – 25g while other products have 10g, 12.5g, 25g and even 50g (Toppik is the only brand that offers this mega size container). It costs $35 which is the average size of most brands for 25g.
All hair fiber products use the same technique. The fibers are charged with static electricity hence can securely stay in place. Most manufacturers claim that their product is proven to withstand rain, wind and even precipitation and that it will never run, smear or stain but can simply be washed out with any shampoo. Not all products are equal it quality, despite of the promises. What you should look for is if the product is natural so it will look natural (better then synthetic), value for money and user reviews. MIRAGE gets good user reviews but is less popular then the common brands such as Toppik, Xfusion, Nanofibers etc.
Conclusion
If you choose a hair loss concealer – I recommend that you choose a natural product. The reason is that it should have no side effects, and blends with your natural hair so no one can notice that it’s in use. Synthetic products make your hair look synthetic even from remote, and if someone gets closer he or she might even notice the low quality fibers on your hair. Synthetic products also tend to smear. MIRAGE Hair Building Fibers are made up of 100% pure organic Keratin protein, definitely a fine hair loss concealer.
