Procerin: Stop excessive hair fall

Remox IV Review

RE-MOX IV is a product of the Remox system developed by Doctor Klein. The Remox IV system (called Remox KIT Jump Start for Men) contains a two month supply of Remox IV Lotion, Remox IV Spray, and Remox Scalp Shampoo but you can also get each product separately. Dr. Klien’s products remind Dr. Richard Lee’s products, and use combination of medications such as minoxidil and spiro with natural ingredient such as  Tretinoin and azelaic acid.

Remox IV Ingredients

Remox IV is a combination of Minoxidil, Tretinoin, Azelaic Acid, and Progesterone.

•    Minoxidil: Good old Minoxidil has been used since the 80s with good results against hair loss. This synthetic ingredient is proven to stimulate the follicles but has no effect on DHT therefore its success is limited in case of patten baldness.

•    Tretinoin: Tretinoin is the acid form of Vitamin A. Its most common use is for treating acne. Maybe this ingredient will counteract the acne that may be gained from the Minoxidil. Good news for those of you that have stretch marks on your head though as Tretinoin is also used to combat that problem as well.

•    Hydrocortisone (only in the lotion): Hydrocortisone is a treatment for rheumatoid arthritis so I’m nit sure how it slows hair loss.

•    Azelaic Acid: a saturated dicarboxylic acid found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley. This natural substance that is produced by Malassezia furfur (also known as Pityrosporum ovale), a yeast that lives on normal skin. Knows as an effective acne treatment it  is also a popular loss treatment you can find in many hair loss products. Its main action is blocking DHT.

•    Progesterone: Progesterone is a steroid hormone involved in the female menstrual cycle, pregnancy (supports gestation) and embryogenesis of humans and other species. Progesterone inhibits the body from converting testosterone to di-hydrotestosterone (DHT) by binding to 5 alpha reductase and also considered to be the protection women have against baldness.

How to Use Remox IV

Remox IV available in both the 5% Minoxidil spray and 15% Minoxidil lotion formula. The lotion is more concentrated so it can be used once per day and the spray 1-2 times. The shampoo is just an option.

Remox IV Side Effects

No side effects are reported except for itchy scalp, redness and dandruff. Topical products in general are less risky then oral, as they remain in the skin layers and do not get into the blood system.

Remox IV Cost

The spray costs $43 for 60ml bottle and the lotion $73 for 60ml bottle. Each lasts 1-2 months. The “Remox KIT Jump Start for Men” also contain a 150ml shampoo and costs $133.

Conclusion

Remox IV is considered by its maker to be the flagship of all Remox products. The maker claims that “Patients can replace Re-Mox I, II, and III with Re-Mox IV for better results if not satisfied with the results already obtained with Re-Mox I, Re-Mox II, or Re-Mox III” – is that a hint that the veteran versions do not really work? The testimonials section includes few testimonials and the before and after pictures. Some of the pics look the same or if they were “cooked” (more light in the before pics, different hair styles etc). If you ask me – I’m skeptical.  I would skip this product, it’s too expensive for a topical hair loss product. For a topical DHT blocker product I’d prefer Revivogen as it’s proven and costs only $89 for a 6 months supply.
