COUVRe Alopecia Masking Lotion Review
COUVRe Alopecia Masking Lotion is a cosmetic product that helps getting a full looking hair. It is made by Spencer Forest, the company that manufactures Toppik. COUVRe is different than most hair concealers. It is not applied on the hair – but on the scalp. According to the manufacturer “With this undetectable lotion-compound nobody will ever see that your scalp is showing through, or even notice that your hair is thinning. Whether you are thinning in the front, at the crown, or anywhere else, Couvré will eliminate the problem — instantly”.
COUVRe Alopecia Masking Lotion can be used alongside your other hair loss treatments that are part of your daily regimen. The idea of COUVRe is to make your thinning hair less noticeable by reducing the color contrast between your hair and scalp. This product also comes in several different colors for you to choose from.
COUVRe Ingredients
COUVRe Alopecia Masking Lotion contains the following ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, Isopropyl Myristate, Quaternium-18 Hectorite, Stearic Acid, Sesame Oil, Talc, Wheat Germ Glycerides, Cetyl Alcohol, Triethanolamine, Disodium Oleamido PEG-2 Sulfosuccinate, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Choleth-24, Fragrance, Imidazolidinyl Urea
Methylparaben, Cellulose Gum, Lithium Stearate, Panthenol
Propylparaben
Using COUVRe
Using this product is simple, just comb your hair away in the thinning area and apply the lotion to your scalp using the provided applicator. Massage the lotion into the scalp and surrounding hair, then style it back as usual. Apply on dry hair. According to the manufacturer this product is water resistant, but to remove it you simply need to wash it out with regular shampoo. I would say that you should not count on it. If you’re about to exercise or do any activity that includes wetting your hair, take into account it may drip or spread.
COUVRe Side effects
According to the manufacturer, COUVRe Alopecia Masking Lotion is safe to use as there have been no reported side effects. It will not prevent the effectiveness of your other hair loss treatments you use, or prevent hair growth.
COUVRe Alopecia Masking Lotion Conclusion
COUVRe Alopecia Masking Lotion is an affordable product. It costs about $20 per 1.25 oz. This product makes a pretty good job as it promises, especially for men who are looking for a cosmetic solution to cover their embarrassing thinning hair. The testimonials on this product are positive and it’s being sold in great quantities worldwide. It’s also affordable, so you can give it a try without getting ripped off.
