Baldness Cure for Women

Women hair loss is devastating. Full, shiny long hair is one of the symbols of a bountiful young woman. When hair loss arrives, the emotional effect is dramatic and painful. There are many causes for hair loss, and you can read all about them here. I have already reviewed this in the post baldness in women is a living nightmare, now it’s time to take action.

So, you’re losing hair, it’s thinning, what can you do about it?

First – visit your doctor. I know, you’ve heard that before and may already done that. I write this for women who still didn’t. Hair loss may be a result of various medical conditions, nutrients deficiency and hormonal imbalance so the best thing to start with is blood tests to measure your levels and see if the reason can be easily found. Once you know the reason you can act accordingly. For example, if the findings are low levels of Iron or other minerals or vitamins – you can start taking supplements. If the reason is medical, a medical treatment that improves you health condition is necessary. If the reason is hormonal, your doctor will know what to recommend, as such imbalance can be temporary. The problem starts when hair loss is a result of female pattern baldness. If this is the case then the reason is heredity, and has nothing to do with other reasons. Pattern baldness cause permanent baldness if you don’t take care of it. In women – it’s usually thinning hair that spreads in the middle of your scalp, that may turn into baldness during the years. The good news are that you can stop it and reverse the process if you take action imminently. If you neglect hair loss then the damage can be permanent.

You have many options to treat hairloss, I wrote about them here. Also, this site includes reviews on many hair loss products and treatments, some of the products are super-effective, some are just a waste of your time and money, so check them out, find those that really work, and try them. But be careful, some of them are not for women. Propecia and dutasteride, as well as other men’s oral hair loss products are prohibited, as they reduce the DHT levels in the body. This is extremely dangerous for pregnant women, and also before and after getting pregnant, as it may adversely effect the development of male fetus and babies. Rarely, women after the age of 50 may use them, and only according to their doctor’s guidance. Usually women will not use them at all, regardless of their age.

So if you are a women who suffer from hair loss, don’t stressed out, stress cause hair loss. Relax, and take action – now.
